Hello Kitty is a short film directed and written by 12by12 Films. It follows a young woman who is trying to write a short film and struggling with writer’s block.

Swamini and Anirudh of 12by12 films reached out to us to animate some portions of this film. 

Paus brought the script that the writer in the film is writing: the story of Binoy, frustrated that his cat lives rent free with no worries about capitalism while he has to slog away. Our four resident cats constantly taunt us by napping in our workspace, and we immediately connected with that. 

We had a lot of fun drawing the cat, and even more fun animating him.
